Content Guidelines

General Principles

At The DemoStop, we strive to create a vibrant, respectful, and legally compliant community. To maintain this environment, users must adhere to the following content guidelines:

  1. Respect and Dignity:
    • Users must treat others with respect. Content that is abusive, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory is strictly prohibited.
  2. Accuracy and Honesty:
    • Ensure that all information provided in your profile and posts is accurate and truthful. Misleading content is not allowed.
  3. Prohibited Content:
    • Content that is obscene, pornographic, violent, or otherwise inappropriate is not allowed on The DemoStop.

Music Cover Videos Regulation

  1. Marking Cover Performances:
    • If your performance is a cover of an existing song, you must clearly mark it as a “Cover” in both the video description and tags. This helps maintain transparency and respect for the original creators.
  2. Original Songs and Performances:
    • If your performance is an original song or composition, you cannot tag it with the name of any existing songs or artists. Ensure that your original work is accurately represented to avoid misleading our community.
  3. Compliance with Copyright Laws:
    • Users must ensure that their cover performances comply with applicable copyright laws. This may include obtaining the necessary permissions or licenses from the original copyright holders.
  4. Consequences of Violations:
    • Violating these guidelines by incorrectly tagging performances or failing to mark cover songs appropriately can result in the deletion of the content without prior notice.
    • Repeated or severe violations may lead to the suspension or deletion of your account. The DemoStop reserves the right to take action as deemed necessary to enforce these rules.
  5. Reporting Violations:
    • Users can report any content that appears to violate these guidelines by using the reporting feature available on the platform. Our team will review reported content and take appropriate action.

Dance and Performance Content Regulation

  1. Original Choreography:
    • If the choreography in your performance is original, you must clearly mark it as “Original” in both the video description and tags.
  2. Adapted Choreography:
    • If the choreography is adapted from someone else’s work, you must credit the original choreographer. If the choreographer is a DemoStop user, tag them in your post. Otherwise, write their name in the video description.
  3. Compliance with Copyright Laws:
    • Users must ensure that their dance and performance content complies with applicable copyright laws. This may include obtaining the necessary permissions or licenses from the original choreographers.
  4. Consequences of Violations:
    • Violating these guidelines by incorrectly tagging performances or failing to credit choreographers can result in the deletion of the content without prior notice.
    • Repeated or severe violations may lead to the suspension or deletion of your account. The DemoStop reserves the right to take action as deemed necessary to enforce these rules.

Intellectual Property

  1. Original Content:
    • Users must only upload content that they own or have the right to use. This includes videos, music, images, and other media.
  2. Infringement:
    • Posting content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others is strictly prohibited. This includes unauthorized use of copyrighted material, trademarks, or other protected works.

Community Interaction

  1. Positive Engagement:
    • Engage with others in a positive and constructive manner. Negative, trolling, or inflammatory comments are not tolerated.
  2. No Spam:
    • Spamming, including repetitive or irrelevant posts, excessive self-promotion, or unsolicited messaging, is prohibited.

Safety and Privacy

  1. Personal Information:
    • Do not share personal information of yourself or others publicly. This includes addresses, phone numbers, and other private data.
  2. Safe Interactions:
    • Interactions on The DemoStop should be safe and consensual. Report any behavior that feels unsafe or inappropriate to our support team.

Compliance and Enforcement

  1. Review and Action:
    • The DemoStop reserves the right to review any content posted on the platform and take appropriate action, including removal of content or suspension of accounts, to ensure compliance with these guidelines.
  2. Appeals:
    • Users who believe their content or account has been wrongfully removed or suspended can contact our support team to appeal the decision.
